Two Day Arts & Crafts Festival - Unique Hand Made Arts & Crafts Kick off spring with the Forsythia Festival, held annually the second weekend in March in downtown Forsyth. This free, family-fun event features a two-day arts-and-crafts show, children’s fair, a 5K, sporting tournaments, live entertainment, and much more! Enjoy mouth-watering foods, fine arts and crafts, and activities the whole family can enjoy! Join us Saturday night for FaithFest, our faith-based singing competition celebrating music, faith, and our community. Celebrate the Festival with month long community events! We'd like to thank our presenting sponsor, Volume Chevrolet, for supporting the Forsythia Festival for the third year in a row!

About the organizer
Forsyth-Monroe County Chamber of Commerce
The Chamber exists to stimulate and support commerce, community and tourism. In 1978, a group of prominent Forsyth-Monroe County businessmen came together and formed an organization committed to the business community's growth and success. Still today, the Chamber Board of Director's and Staff strive to provide a great place to educate, promote and grow your business or organization. The Arts & Craft Application is for handmade and/or unique items that are coming from vendors located outside of Monroe County. Thank you for your interest in the 33rd Annual Forsythia Festival, March 14-15, 2020. The Forsythia Festival is a fine arts and crafts show with traditional and contemporary crafts. All items are juried based on their merit to the festival. Only handcrafted items made by the artisan attending the festival will be accepted. Unacceptable items include wholesale, brokered, merchandise mart, or imported items, factory-made items, ready-made kits, franchised, seconds and commercially produced items.

Unacceptable items include wholesale, brokered, merchandise mart, or imported items, factory-made items, ready-made kits, franchised, seconds and commercially produced items.

As you know, the Forsythia Festival is a non-compete festival, and vendors may only sell items approved by the Forsythia Festival. Sales exclusivity does not include the following items: bottled water, sodas, bags of chips, candy bars, and regular French fries (curly fries are exclusive items). Keep in mind, however, that the festival will approve local non-profit organizations and groups selling minimal prep items such as hot dogs/corn dogs, funnel cakes, cotton candy, hamburgers, etc., before considering a commercial vendor selling the same item.

**Please Note** Community Stage is for individuals or groups who would like to play for the community. There is no application fee or pay for performance. Slots are available in 30 minute increments and no more than one hour. Your time slot must include any set-up or take down of your equipment, so please adjust your performance time to accommodate your needs. Each performer is only allowed one performance time. Please note that the committee works to best match your time request, however, it is best for the performer to choose THREE options. Every effort will be made to accommodate your first choice. Performance time and date will be assigned at the discretion of the Forsythia Festival Committee. All decisions are final.

2020 FaithFest Application

Who Can Compete? This contest is an amateur singing completion. All contestants must be amateur entertainers. Professional entertainers, those who receive ANY INCOME for performing or recordings are not permitted to enter. All ages are welcome. FaithFest has three categories: adult, youth and choir groups. The adult category is for contestants 18 years of age and over. Parent/legal guardian must sign application for contestants under 18 years of age. Choir groups are organization specific. More About FaithFest: Forsythia FaithFest is a Christian based singing competition celebrating music, faith, and our community. The competition is part of the annual Forsythia Festival held during the second weekend of March. This competition celebrates faith-based music through all styles including contemporary rock, pop, praise and worship, gospel, R&B, hip hop, country, and more.
