This historical re-creation event offers live demos from skilled artisans, music, dance, and fully armored knights fighting with real weapons, battling it out to the last man (or woman!) standing!

Our da Vinci Day will teach the young ones (and adults) how things were made and done in the days before computers. Our "treasure map" will have you hunting around the shire for artisans who will share a bit about their skill set and introduce them to organizations that keep old traditions alive and bring you face-to-face with our sovereign King! Your business can support those choosing to keep friends, family & the community safe. We offer one free "sober curious" non-alcoholic drink to designated drivers for friends and family who want to enjoy regular adult beverages at our pub. Our non-alcoholic adult beverage alternative menu is popular for those seeking healthier, refreshing drinks. Hard-to-find herbal-infused drinks, mocktails, and unique water offerings are available. These more sophisticated beverage options offer DDs a special treat while honoring their commitment.

Entertainment acts need to be "in theme". Musical acts are along the lines of folk, world cultural, or historical in nature. We do not accept modern musical genres such as pop, R&B, rock, hip-hop, K-pop, Country, etc.  Please submit a video link of your act with the application. 

Be a certified Pub Tender - This is a volunteer position. Workers are required to be 21 or older and to be at least a certified server under Arizona Title 4 liquor laws. Certification can be received online through https://www.360training.com/learn2serve/alcohol/arizona.

 

Shifts are approximately 4 hours.

This is a volunteer position. Workers must be able to lift at least 45 lbs, bend, squat, climb ladders, operate drills, and use hand tools. 

Volunteers will receive passes to attend the event and a Medieval Mayhem Renaissance Faire T-shirt.

This is a volunteer position. Workers must be 18 or older. Workers will check patrons as they enter the VIP Seating area to ensure that all parties have VIP wristbands. For those who don't have bands, direct them to places (Pub & Box Office) where they can purchase the bands.

This is a volunteer position. Workers must be 18 or older. Workers work closely with production staff to keep the event running smoothly and safely. Duties include ensuring the grounds are kept clean, vendors, producers and volunteers have the items they need. May also include running errands, and messages.

Our vision, our purpose: Imagine a world where our heroes – the brave Arizona military and first responders who put their lives on the line for us every day – can not only recover from career-ending injuries but thrive in a new vocation. Imagine spouses suddenly facing life without their service-person or first-responder partners, empowered to pursue new careers and support their families. Imagine the children of fallen heroes with a path paved toward a brighter future, supported by a post-secondary education fund established for them.

The Mountain of Hope Foundation, in collaboration with Village EVENTures, is working to create a unique community, cultural, and events center in the Arizona White Mountains. This center will provide a wide variety of cultural and educational events, community gatherings, and indoor and outdoor spaces for public and private events, including fundraisers, weddings, family celebrations, and more. The facility will include needed space for new and existing local businesses, such as food entrepreneurs and small retail and service businesses.

When a hero falls or suffers a career-ending injury, the sacrifice doesn't end on the battlefield or at the scene. It lives on in the families left behind and the futures that must be rebuilt. At the Mountain of Hope Foundation, we turn that sacrifice into a new beginning through: Vocational Rehab Scholarships for Arizona military and first responders who can no longer serve due to duty-related injuries. Vocational Scholarships for the brave spouses of our fallen heroes, helping them find a path forward. "Seed" College Funds for the minor children of those who gave everything, ensuring their education is a promise, not a burden. Your Support is the Foundation To provide these life-changing scholarships, we must keep our own foundation strong. We operate with radical efficiency—our Board of Directors is 100% volunteer, and our Executive Director receives only a small annual stipend. However, we still face the essential costs of doing business: insurance, licensing, and the software that connects us to families in need. Your gift to our general fund isn't just "overhead"—it is the engine that allows us to deliver hope. Help us ensure that when an Arizona hero sacrifices for us, their family’s future remains bright.
