2026 - 4th of July Celebration

Important update: As the country celebrates the 250th anniversary of its independence, the city is focusing on a more personal celebration that feels like home. We will join with our businesses to showcase the city’s spirit and local character to create an unforgettable experience in the historic heart and soul of the community. We will offer simplified and heartfelt festivities that focus on the people and businesses that make our community unique. Celebrate Independence Day with your friends and family in downtown Powder Springs this July 4! Support Downtown Businesses and select food vendors and enjoy family fun in the splash pad, games, DJ and a free concert at Thurman Springs Park, as well as the spectacular fireworks presentation at 9:30 PM. Our classic main street event will bring a hometown 4th that will provide a family friendly and fun community experience.
