2026 Johns Creek Diwali Celebration

About the event

Come together as a community to celebrate Diwali, the festival of lights! The Diwali Celebration will take place at Johns Creek Boardwalk at Town Center on Saturday, November 7th from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event will feature performances throughout the duration of the event with market vendors, food, lights, and much more! The entire community is invited to help celebrate the symbolic meaning of Diwali, a “victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance.” This family-friendly celebration is a community-organized Diwali event and embraces the cultural diversity of our Johns Creek community.

The Johns Creek Diwali Celebration promises to be a wonderful time of community festivities in honor of the festival of lights! A select few non-profit organizations will be granted a space at the Diwali Celebration. As a non-profit vendor, you are promoting information, not a service or product.

Non-Profit Vendor Fee: $150 includes 10'x10' tent, 1 table and 2 chairs

Set-up: Saturday, November 7 at 12:00pm *Set-up must be completed by 3:00pm

Tear down: Saturday, November 7 at 8:00pm

Vendor Parking: You will be able to park your car in the designated vendor section of the City Hall parking lot.

Set-up: Saturday, November 7 at 12:00m *Set-up must be completed by 3:00pm

Tear down: Saturday, November 7 at 8:00pm

Vendor Parking: Parking is located in the City Hall parking lot, 11360 Lakefield Drive. Parking will be available until the lot is full, but no fear! We have three lots available for free general parking all day.

We are looking for performers who can provide an authentic and diverse experience for attendees. We are interested in musical performers, dancers, storytellers, cultural demonstrations, and more. The performance times will vary and we are accepting performances no longer than 10 mins a piece.

All applications are due by October 7, 2026

PLEASE NOTE: There is no monetary compensation for performances. Please do not complete this application if your group/ band/ act only accepts dates for paid performances.
