About the event
Join the Town of Fort Mill as we celebrate our Nation’s 250th with food, fireworks and fun at our Independence Day Celebration on Friday, July 3, 2026! This free event will be held from 6 to 9:30 p.m. at the Fort Mill Amphitheater and Walter Elisha Park, 345 N. White St. The celebration will feature live music, food trucks, vendors, roving entertainment and children’s activities. Included are special historical touches honoring America’s 250th anniversary & a spectacular fireworks show to end the night!

The following items are not permitted during Town events: Animals of any kind (except service animals) Outside food and beverages Coolers Golf Carts-must park in designated parking lots Bicycles Firearms/Weapons Illegal narcotics Drones cannot be flown in or above Town parks Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult Profanity, both spoken and on attire, is not permitted Smoking and vaping are not allowed at events Only approved vendors are permitted to sell at Town events Soliciting and/or demonstrations of any kind are not permitted Offensive, disruptive or disorderly conduct will not be tolerated You must be at least 21 years old to purchase alcohol from the marked tents during specified events The Town of Fort Mill is not responsible for any items that are lost, stolen, left unattended, or left on the premises after the conclusion of Town events.

· Must possess a valid, current driver’s license (licenses will be submitted to the Police Department for verification) · Operate a golf cart to transport guests · Communicate effectively with event staff and fellow volunteers via radio to ensure safe and efficient transportation operations

-Assist Berry B. Good, the South Carolina Strawberry Festival Mascot, around the event -Help Berry mingle with the patrons & take photos in a safe manner -Keep Berry safe and navigate his surroundings -Keep up with Berry's schedule & breaks

· Monitor and control access to the building to ensure only authorized personnel enter · Verify proper identification upon entry (uniform or event lanyard) · Politely redirect members of the public to the appropriate area · Help maintain a clean and orderly dining area throughout the event · Assist staff and volunteers by answering questions, providing directions (including restroom locations), and offering general support as needed
