2026 Annual Holiday Parade

41st Annual Holiday Parade Parade Begins: 6:30pm 【ＴＨＥＭＥ】Christmas Under the Big Sky
All parade entries are required to decorate for the holiday theme. Avoid any plain vehicles or trailers from being part of your parade entry. DO NOT include a Santa in your entry. We intentionally 'hire' a Santa for the parade, and he sits on the annual Santa float that closes out the parade to wish everyone a happy holiday season.
【Ｓｅｔ－Ｕｐ】Parade participants will be emailed a staging map with pre-parade arrival instructions. Float arrival times will be assigned between 5:00pm and 6:00pm. All floats and parade entrants must be in place in the staging area by 6:00pm.
【ＩＭＰＯＲＴＡＮＴ】 This application is not a guarantee of event participation. Once accepted each participant will be assigned a location in the parade by the event organizer. The parade line-up is at the discretion of the event organizers. Parade line-up location requests are welcome but not guaranteed.

Each parade participant is given a line-up number that correlates with a spot in the staging area. The Block Captains help the parade participants find their place in the staging area and prepares them to start moving when the time is right. Block Captains will be outside in the elements and we strongly recommend wearing comfortable/warm clothes (preferably not black as it's dark and we want you to be easy to spot). Suggested items to wear and bring: Coat, gloves, comfortable and slip resistant shoes, head lamp/ flashlight. We will provide you with a flashlight if you need one and have reflective vests to help you be seen. We will have you meet at the Downtown Billings office to get your block assignments and paperwork and provide some basic "what to expect" orientation for our new Block Captains.
