At the Homewood-Flossmoor Juneteenth Festival, the safety and well-being of our attendees are our top priorities. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, we have implemented the following safety guidelines:
Designated Entrances: All attendees must enter the festival grounds through designated entrances, where they will undergo security screenings by our trained staff.
Security Checkpoints: Security checkpoints will be set up at all entrances to ensure the safety of all attendees. Bag checks and metal detectors may be utilized as part of the security screening process.
Prohibited Items: For the safety and comfort of all attendees, the following items are prohibited within the festival grounds:
Weapons of any kind, including firearms, knives, and pepper spray
Illegal substances or drugs
Alcohol brought from outside the festival premises
Glass containers or bottles
Drones or unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs)
Pets or animals (excluding service animals)
Large backpacks, coolers, or oversized bags
Any items deemed by festival staff to be potentially hazardous or disruptive to the event
Emergency Procedures: In the event of an emergency, please follow the instructions of festival staff and emergency personnel. Emergency exits and evacuation routes will be clearly marked throughout the festival grounds.
