About the event
The exciting Johns Creek Arts Festival, will return for the ninth year to wow neighbors and visitors on October 16 and 17, 2021, Saturday from 10AM to 6PM, Sunday from 10AM to 5PM. The serene green space across from The Atlanta Athletic Club will come alive with 130 whimsical and fun artisans from around the country. The beautiful and sprawling Heisman Field overlooking Medlock Bridge Road is the perfect venue to showcase the talented artisans who will be exhibiting their paintings, pottery, metalwork, folk art, glass, jewelry, yard art and many more goodies. We are proud to receive the 2019 Sunshine Artist Top 200 award for being in the top 100 of all art shows in the country! This annual fall celebration of the arts is a shoppers’ paradise. A large food court with live entertainment beckons festival-goers to recharge before hitting the art market again or venturing into the enormous Kids Zone. For those who can't make it to the festival, a virtual version of the event will be held on concurrently.

This application is for the waitlist only. Johns Creek Arts Festival celebrates its ninth year on October 16 & 17, 2021. You are invited to apply to be a part of this much anticipated fall show held in beautiful green space across the street from the Atlanta Athletic Club on Medlock Bridge Road. Once you apply, you'll be prompted to create your own account with your basic information. This will allow you to update your personal information and also allow you to see the status of your application. Your preferred method of payment (credit/debit card or ACH bank transfer) will be necessary when you register but will not be charged until seventy-five days prior to the show. You'll also be charged a bank processing fee of approximately 3.5%. Corner booths are limited, so you will not be able to select one when they are sold out. Acceptable categories are candles, clay, culinary arts (not food vending), fiber, folk art, glass, jewelry, leather, living plants, metal, mixed media, paintings, photography, soaps-lotions-balms and wood. Culinary artists will be required to submit a copy of their Department of Agriculture license. Georgia Grown members will be required to submit proof of their current membership. All work must be hand made by the artists. No wholesale or buy-sell is allowed. All applications will be subject to jury approval after December 31, 2020. You will be notified of acceptance no later than July 1, 2021. Jury fees are nonrefundable. All booths are approximately 10'D x 12'W. Booth fees are $325 for a regular space and $400 for a corner location. Corner booths are limited. Georgia Grown members will receive $200 off the regular booth space. All spaces are on grass. Or, go virtual only for just $100. Please note that additional fees will be charged for online sales during the event equal to approximately 13% of the total transaction. You'll be required to submit photos with this application. If you do not wish for your photos to be used for promotional purposes of the festival, please let us know in the Special Requests section below. You must furnish your own tents, tables, chairs, display and set-up materials. Booth placards will be provided. Tents can be available for an additional fee of $200 without sides. In 2019, the festival drew an estimated 30,000 visitors over two days. • Food trucks and food tent vendors are welcome to apply. • We do not duplicate menus • Separate applications must be submitted for each food truck or food tent. • Load in is on Saturday morning. • Payment is due seventy-five days prior to the event. • Your certificate of insurance is due upon acceptance.

Johns Creek Arts Festival Kidz Zone takes place in Heisman Field, the sprawling green space across from the Atlanta Athletic Club on Medlock Bridge Rd. In 2019, hundreds of children participated in activities such as inflatable rides, bungee jumps, trampoline jumps, face painting, sand art and more. All vendors are required to either purchase space or pay a commission (depending on the activity) to be able to be a part of the festivities. Please describe your activity in the application. Approved applicants will be notified no later than August 1, 2021. at least seventy-five days prior to the event.

THIS APPLICATION IS FOR ADULTS ONLY (18 OR OLDER) Artist Check-in • Artist Check-in volunteers are responsible for welcoming the artists to Johns Creek and providing them with their check-in packet. • Please check-in for your shift at the Headquarters tent, which is the first tent to your immediate right after entering the festival grounds from the parking area. • Please be on time for your shift, as your help is greatly needed during this time. • All volunteers will receive a free 2021 Johns Creek Arts Festival t-shirt. • Volunteers who work the Friday shift from 9:30 to 1:30pm will have lunch provided. Headquarters Management Duties include: Checking in volunteers, dispatching booth-sitters for artists, checking in and out walkie-talkies and providing first aid supplies from the box if necessary, etc. Booth Sitting Services Duties include: Booth-sitting for artists while they take a quick break or get something to eat. Booth-sitting involves watching over the artists’ booths and sometimes making a sale for the artist. THIS APPLICATION IS FOR STUDENTS ONLY Duties include: • Hospitality: Delivering beverages to artists and sponsors, and other duties as necessary. • Artist Breakdown: Volunteers are responsible for helping exhibitors break down their booths as requested, assisting them with loading of their vehicles, picking up festival signs, packing up supplies, etc. You must be able to lift heavy items up to 30lbs. It's one of the most gratifying duties, as the artists are very thankful for your help. Energy abounds during this shift! • Stage Hands: You'll assist the stage manager with setting up and taking down sets in between acts. • All volunteers should check-in for your shifts at the Headquarters tent, which is the first tent to your immediate right after entering the festival grounds from the parking area. • Please be on time for your shift, as your help is greatly needed during this time. • All volunteers will receive a free 2021 Johns Creek Arts Festival t-shirt.
