Non-Profit Vendors -$75

Vendors in this category are limited to non-profit organizations for the express purpose of distributing and disseminating information and educational material. Distribution of water or food is not permitted. Any applicant applying to participate in the festival as a non-profit must provide evidence of their non-profit status. A non-profit is defined as one of the following:•A corporation incorporated pursuant to the Nonprofit Corporation Law that is exempt from taxation and can show proof with a 501(c)3 form from the Internal Revenue Service.
•An organization that was organized and is in operation for charitable purposes and meets the requirements of Section214 of the Revenue and Taxation Code.
•10% of available booth spaces will be allocated to Non-profits. After all allocated Non-profit booth spaces have been filled, Non-profits can come in at Company Booth rate.

Kid's Business Vendor Booth - $45

This application is for kids ages 8-17 who wish to host their own vendor booth at the Fair Oaks Chicken Festival.   Only children ages 8-17 will be permitted to operate a booth at the event. Business and or Merchandise/Services to be sold must be solely the work of the child. Kid's Business Booths will be located in or near the Kid's Park.
 
Parents: Please complete the application and read through all the selection criteria and terms and conditions WITH your child. Please note: any food/beverage applications for Kid's Businesses will NOT be accepted.
Kid's Park Activity Booth - $25

Vendors in this category are limited to non-profits, community groups, and businesses that will host a Kid’s HANDS ON ARTS & CRAFTS PROJECT BOOTH or CARNIVAL GAME. NO SALES or SOLICITING are allowed. All Activity Booths will be located in the Kid’s Park and must adhere to the following requirements:
1.      Supply a hands on Arts & Crafts project that can be taken with the child once completed OR a Carnival Game the child may play to win a prize. Please note: Coloring Pages or Small Spin to Win Wheels or similar will not be accepted.
2.      Vendor is responsible for bringing all supplies, equipment, prizes, etc. The FORPD District has a limited # of Carnival Games that can be borrowed (please email Mary at mstoakley@forpd to inquire what is available).
3.      Vendor should plan to have enough supplies and prizes for a minimum of 1,000 children.
4.      The Arts & Crafts project or Carnival Game shall be the main focus of the booth. However, the vendor may market themselves with a banner or signage at their booth and hand out a flyer or marketing material on their offerings. 
Pancake Breakfast Performance Application

Calling all performers! The Fair Oaks Recreation & Park District is looking for talented performers and groups to perform at the pancake breakfast on the morning of the Fair Oaks Chicken Festival (Sept. 21, 24). Pancake breakfast happens at the Orangevale/Fair Oaks Grange (5807 Walnut Ave. Orangevale, CA).  To be considered as a performer or demonstration group, please fill out the entire application form and submit no later than July 15 , 2024. No compensation will be paid to the performer(s) or demonstration group(s). Performances will be between 8am-9:45am. FORPD will do our best to work with your group but ultimately the performance time and details will be decided by FORPD and what works best for the event itself. FORPD will notify each individual or group after the deadline with a completed schedule.
