12th Annual Fort Mill Scarecrow Crawl

The Town of Fort Mill invites the community to celebrate fall during the 12th Annual Fort Mill Scarecrow Crawl! Throughout October, Downtown Fort Mill will be transformed with creative scarecrow displays designed by local businesses, schools, organizations, families, and individuals. Visitors are encouraged to "crawl" through Downtown, admire the unique creations, and vote for their favorites during the People's Choice competition. Enter a Scarecrow: Think you have what it takes to build an award-winning scarecrow? We'd love to see your creativity! Application Period: August 3–28, 2026 Installation Dates: September 25–October 1, 2026 Participation is FREE, but space is limited. Applications will be reviewed, and participants will be notified if they are accepted or placed on the waitlist. Whether you're creating a scarecrow or exploring Downtown to see them all, the Fort Mill Scarecrow Crawl is a fun fall tradition for all ages.
