Students will create a charming collection of Dear Santa sugar cookies using colorful royal icing and designs inspired by the magic of Christmas letters, wish lists and holiday traditions.Throughout class, students will learn how to outline and flood cookies and work with two different consistencies of royal icing. We’ll practice wet-on-wet techniques to create decorative patterns, then add dimensional piping and festive details that bring our Dear Santa designs to life.We’ll also share helpful tips for creating smooth icing, clean lines and neat lettering to personalize your holiday cookies.Whether you’re completely new to royal icing or looking to improve your decorating skills for the holidays, this beginner-friendly class is designed for all experience levels.• Decorate a collection of Dear Santa sugar cookies• Learn outlining and flooding techniques• Work with two consistencies of royal icing• Practice wet-on-wet decorative techniques• Add lettering, dimensional piping and festive details• Take home your completed holiday cookiesThis class earns one December Stamp on our Holiday Class Passport!
