About this event
ARMADILLOCON is one of the longest-running community events in Austin.
It's a fan-run, fan-generated convention celebrating Science Fiction, Fantasy,
Horror and other Weird stories and art. We've been helping put the Weird in
Austin reading and writing since 1979.
This year's convention will include over 100 events for fans and writers -
interviews, panel discussions, readings, scheduled gaming, signings, maker
sessions, the Meet the Pros Party, a legendary Bar Con, the Writers' Workshop
for new and developing writers, a Screenwriting Workshop, an Art Show, a
Dealers' Room where you can shop and talk to other fans, and more!
