Family fun for everyone! June 27th, 2026! Gates open at 5 pm! Fireworks start in: 56Days7Hours46Minutes4Seconds This event is hosted by the Rotary Club of Slidell and the Rotary Club of Slidell North Shore in conjunction with the City of Slidell. ALL PROCEEDS from this event go back into the community. Over the last 25+ years, we've distributed more than $1,000,000 to local charities. Thank you, and God Bless! Food Vendor Application Sponsorship Form Craft Vendor Application Beneficiaries The Slidell Heritage Festival has 12 board members. Our board oversees all aspects of the festival, including vendors, entertainment, live music, and the overall event operations. The 2026 charities will be posted once selected. The 2025 chosen charities that benefited from our Fundraising efforts are detailed below: The Slidell Police Association : The Association was formed in 2005 to assist Slidell Police Officers and the City of Slidell citizens by bridging the gap between the police and citizens. The organization holds charity events such as Cook-Offs and Toys from Cops. They also help police officers and their families with tragic events. Boy Scouts Cypress District: Scouts BSA is where youth develop outdoor survival skills, self-confidence, and ethics through youth-planned activities with increased attention to service, community engagement, and leadership. The scout slogan is Do a Good Turn Daily. Some of these good turns have included serving at special events honoring veterans and law enforcement or conducting service projects such as beautifying a school, recycling, and rebuilding a nature trail. The 2025 selected Charities are listed below. East St Tammany Rainbow Child Care Center, Inc: We are a non-profit United Way Partner Agency that has invested over 4.8 million hours of early learning in more than 7,000 children between the ages of 1 and 5 since opening its doors 42 years ago. It was initiated to address the need for affordable childcare. The mission is to strengthen working families with a quality child care program. Free NOLA: All Free NOLA outreach work is rooted in the principle and practice of Relational Evangelism. It simply means the team comes alongside people, right where they are, offering no judgment, condemnation, or expectation, just relationship. The Free NOLA team specifically focuses on building relationships with people trapped in the sex industry, to show the love of the Father to them in a tangible way by bringing them free gifts of love. Free NOLA is committed to intersecting the lives of trained team members with workers in strip clubs, massage parlors, motels, or brothels. By doing this consistently over time, relationships of trust are developed so that encouragement and a better way of life can be presented. Over 95% of those trapped in the sex industry did not imagine they would be doing this type of work. However, many do not have the life or job skills to do anything else. And, typically, they do not have a network of people to help them envision or embrace a better life. That's where the Free NOLA team steps in. Hospice House: The Hospice House is a home designed to welcome terminally ill patients enrolled in a preferred hospice program with the Hospice Foundation, providing a place to stay during their final days at no cost. Our home is owned and operated by the Hospice Foundation of the South. We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Caregivers are in our home 24 hours a day to provide care for the residents. The preferred hospice programs recommend people who, because of circumstances in their lives, need a place to live while living out their final days. The festival is a great day of family fun held at Slidell's Heritage Park. Vendors and food trucks will be offering great options for sale. Drinks will be available for purchase. The line-up will provide musical entertainment, followed by a fantastic fireworks display and more music. Every year, the Slidell Heritage Festival raises funds for local charities.
