I am a Baltimore born, Baltimore based, community taught nerd who helps others gain access to tools, technology, and the knowledge to use them at Open Works, a Baltimore based maker space where I am an Office Manager. Owner of Warped Vortex Art (WVA) whose mission is to help others realize they have a glow inside that deserves to be seen which is expressed through glow-in-the-dark art, jewelry, and clothing. WVA was able to fuse together a passion for expressionism, creativity, and a hefty thirst for learning new skills and not being afraid of a little chemistry. If you enjoy anime, sci-fi, gaming, fashion, pop culture, comics, heroism WVA is for you because WVA art is expressed using glow-in-the-dark resin, sewing thread, and/or vinyl material.
