Kaitlin
Hi, I’m Kaitlin. I currently live in Dallas and grew up in The Woodlands.
My goal as an artist is to provide a moment of beauty, peace, and wonder. I do that by painting skyscapes right now.
I love exploring the world through an airplane window. It's a unique perspective that we rarely get to see, especially this year.
Stormy skies moving across a vast horizon captivate me. Sunrises and sunsets over reflective water capture my curiosity.
This is an extra special show for me to take part in. I attended The John Cooper School and The Woodlands High School. I participated in both of their art programs. Much of what I learned there has carried through my career as an artist. The Festival began after I left for college but I've visited it with my family many times.
Conversation brings art to life. I love exchanging stories and getting a glimpse of the new life the paintings take on now that they're interacting with the world. Please don’t be shy about hopping on zoom. I would love to chat with you.
I love to do custom commissioned paintings so please reach out if that might interest you.
Please head over to my website at kdmerchant.com to sign up for my collector's list to be the first to know of new work, shows, and special things only offered to the collectors.
