This fleece weighs 4 pounds with a 5 inch staple length. Tanner, a wethered lamb, provided beautiful lamb’s fleece with deep auburn black tips and shimmery silver along the bottom. This is a beautiful large fleece allows the spinner to experience the best of soft Shetland and shiny Gotland wool. Shetland/Gotland fleeces produce a light lofty yarn with a silky finish. And a little goes a long way. Our fleeces are never coated because these browsing animals have cleaned our pastures up nicely. But they might have some very light vegetable matter.
