Description
Tiny golden hearts are at the center of each of the three gold metal flower motifs that were used to create this necklace. I embellished each metal flower with crochet stitches created with wine red and red multicolor hand-dyed threads. These pretty poesies adorn a shining gold chain that closes with a gold heart toggle clasp.
The necklace is about 19 1/2 inches long. The flowers are approximately 1 1/4 inches in diameter.

Gossamer Tangles is an outgrowth of my life-long love of crochet and needle arts. The jewelry I design and make is one-of-a-kind. I find that conceiving a design in my mind and then bringing it to life between my fingers, instills a remarkable mix of wonder, excitement and satisfaction.
Color, texture and imagination, often inspired by my observations of the natural world and works of art, are the key components in my creations.
