Description
Deep black, gray, and slate tones color the hand-dyed thread that I used to crochet into the antique silver, spiral pendant that forms the focus of this necklace. I worked ring-shaped glass beads in glossy hematite into the stitches. Silvery gray metallic thread was stitched along the edge to create a shimmering border. This striking and versatile, one-of-a-kind pendant can be worn with almost any color.
The silver chain is about 20 inches long and closes with a lobster clasp. The spiral pendant is about 1 1/2 inches wide and 1 7/8 inches long. It hangs from a decoratively embossed, silver metal bail.

Gossamer Tangles is an outgrowth of my life-long love of crochet and needle arts. The jewelry I design and make is one-of-a-kind. I find that conceiving a design in my mind and then bringing it to life between my fingers, instills a remarkable mix of wonder, excitement and satisfaction.
