I love nature photography and focus primarily on capturing dreamy macro side views shots of flowers, as well as taking photos of butterflies, Swans, Great Blue Heron, Egrets, the moon, as well as stars in the dark, night sky. I also love to do fluid acrylic art. Each painting that I create is one-of-a-kind; they can never be duplicated because the composition depends upon how the paint flows on the canvas. Plus the elements that I add to many of my paintings (such as feathers, glitter, crushed glass, seashells, and leaves), make each of them even more unique. Recently (at the end of 2024) I started creating contemporary modern abstract paintings adding a lot of texture to them by using gesso and modeling paste. I created them just by using my fingers, as well as palette knives and sea sponges. I never finger painted as a child, so I never realized just how much fun I missed out on until now! =) My paintings are created using non-toxic paint so that they are as safe as possible for each person who may be interested in purchasing my art. Upon request I also do custom orders for your home, office, and as gifts for that special someone in your life. After I finish creating a painting I oftentimes use the best portions of the dried paint remaining on my art table to add to pieces of jewelry: pendants with stainless steel chains, bracelets and stainless steel earrings. I also create sun catchers using beads made from glass, acrylic, metal, and black heart shaped lava stones. They all feature either one large or one smaller crystal teardrop which create small but beautiful rainbows on your walls if you place them in a window that brings in a lot of direct sunlight.
