I am a fine artist working in oils and acrylics, blending impressionistic and contemporary styles with a focus on light, color, and the beauty of everyday moments. From landscapes and wildlife to portraiture and still life, I find inspiration in the natural world and the quiet details that often go unnoticed. After earning my BFA and K–12 Art Education Certification from Moore College of Art and Design, I spent nearly 30 years teaching art before retiring in 2021 to pursue painting full time. Now based in Springville, Alabama, I continue to draw inspiration from the Gulf Coast’s luminous skies, reflective waters, and abundant wildlife. Welcome to Impressions by Maureen, where I hope my paintings bring beauty, inspiration, and a little piece of the natural world into your home. Create. Inspire. Make an Impression.
