If you are an artist, please avoid attending any events hosted by this organizer. (To avoid backlash from the organizer, I will be making this post with a burner) I've vended at previous events hosted by this organizer which were fairly good. However, the upcoming K-pop stan fest 2026 was caught using AI for it's promotional material and logo and the response from the organizer is extremely disappointing. When faced with backlash from vendors, performers, and attendees, the organizer doubled down, deleted comments, and removed any posts that had comments critical of them. I've also heard numerous accounts of the organizer blocking performers out of spite. Vendors were not offered a refund and so they are unfortunately tied to the event. This risks reputational harm as they could be seen as supporting the event by not backing out. Some have despite the financial cost. Hopefully this will save you finding out after you've already sent her the table fee.
