Refunds were promised after canceling the event. Refund has never been given. I have reached out multiple times to get the promised refund.

2 big red-flag issues with this organizer 1) They charged me recurringly vs. one time for the event - thankfully I noticed and asked them to correct it 2) They canceled the event, and said they will refund the amount but never did, even after multiple follow ups.
