I founded my business in 2006 after watching a TV program on which the lady made some turquoise from polymer clay. I liked the way it looked but felt I could do much better. I make handcrafted mostly one-of-a-kind jewelry. I use several different mediums, wirework, crochet, etc. I also use a lot of vintage jewelry in my designs, especially in my rings which I incorporate vintage earrings into. My specialty is handmade “turquoise” made with polymer clay. I won 1st place at the Griffin Mayfling for my “turquoise” in 2008. I have also begun to make other “stones” from polymer clay, otherwise I use real stones, jaspers, agates, etc. I also do awareness jewelry for cancer awareness (75% of the proceeds go to the American Cancer Society) and Lupus (40% of the proceeds go to the Georgia Chapter of the Lupus Foundation and 40% to the Arthritis Foundation). I also do custom designs. I began doing craft shows in 2006, but had to stop in 2010 due to health issues and just started back in the fall of 2018.
