Welcome to HanaCon — Where Culture, Creativity, and Community Bloom! ​ HanaCon is a growing anime and Asian culture convention that celebrates the vibrant world of anime, the arts, and pop culture through the lens of makers, creators, authors, illustrators, craftspeople, and designers. We provide a safe, inclusive, and educational space where fans of all ages can come together to share passions, discover new interests, and connect through culture. ​ In our very first year, over 1,000 people joined us in person, proving that there is a strong and passionate community ready to grow. Our programming features interactive workshops, panels, performances, artist showcases, and cultural experiences that highlight both contemporary and traditional Asian influence in pop culture and beyond. The idea for HanaCon first took root in 2010, and while plans were delayed in 2020, the dream never stopped. From assembling our incredible HanaCon Team to officially forming our company, we’ve spent years preparing to bring this vision to life—and this is just the beginning. ​ We invite you to bloom with us and be part of a convention that celebrates culture, creativity, and community in every form.
