Tea bag birds.I got interested in using tea bags for my art after taking an online class.First I enjoy a cup of tea while sitting on my country porch.Then I leave the tea bag to dry and remove the tea leaves.Next,I wait to get inspired by the birds I see in nature and sometimes Pinterest.I design both realistic birds and what I call my quilt birds and silly birds.After I prep the tea bags I make a sketch of the bird. I use my own hand painted papers and other papers I’ve collected like vintage maps and music sheets. I love to add fun uplifting words and messages stored in places of my heart. My husband makes some of the frames out of our old white picket barnyard fence.My customers and I love them! My family/friends are now saving their bags so you can bring one home to your nest. Tweet!
