Coupeville Historic Waterfront Association (a.k.a. CHWA) is a nonprofit 501c3 that strengthens, promotes, and preserves a successful historic downtown district, through placemaking projects in the public realm, grants for exterior enhancement projects downtown, and community-building events during the Island's shoulder seasons, in October, and in March, to invite visitors from the world, and to help small businesses and locals survive through the darker, slower months of the Fall and Winter.
