A graduate of Georgetown Law, Sam North (formerly/also known as Sammy thrashLife) discovered his artistic voice not through school but in an inpatient treatment facility for borderline personality disorder and heroin addiction. Consequently, the work is expressive, raw, and therapeutic — for both artist and audience.
In 2025, North’s work was shown at the historic John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art and he continues to exhibit in galleries and other venues across the US.
