I went to Anime Dallas again this year in April, my 4th time attending. They had moved from Hyatt Regency Dallas to the Frisco Convention Center. Right off the bat, the staff were a bit disorganized due to the Pro-pass badge being introduced this year, some of the staff didn't know it was and there was no VIP lounge this year. We didn't get that much more than normal badges. The Cyprus, a part of the hotel, didn't accept cash(I don't go to hotels very often) and nowhere online did it mention this, nor did it say so at the location. The artist alley was in the back of the dealers room, but there wasn't a sign distinguishing the two and it was really cold the entire weekend. The panels didn't have signs that told us which panel room was which. The gaming room only had multiplayer games. No single player games and no arcades, a huge disappointment for me. There were no opening/closing ceremonies. For now, I won't be attending Anime Dallas again.

I have never attended a convention where staff was non-existent. Toonfusion Raleigh was basically free. You could walk in through any door without staff checking for badges. Multiple vendors arrived on day of convention to set up and no one was there to check us in for at least 30 (if not more) minutes. Organization was poor. There was more advertising for the Carolina Kitty Convention happening across the hall than for Toonfusion. Not a single sign in sight. Staff (when they could be found) wasn't helpful. This convention has potential, but as of now, the organization is awful.
