I have never attended a convention where staff was non-existent. Toonfusion Raleigh was basically free. You could walk in through any door without staff checking for badges. Multiple vendors arrived on day of convention to set up and no one was there to check us in for at least 30 (if not more) minutes. Organization was poor. There was more advertising for the Carolina Kitty Convention happening across the hall than for Toonfusion. Not a single sign in sight. Staff (when they could be found) wasn't helpful. This convention has potential, but as of now, the organization is awful.
