When our 1 and only son went off to college we made several trips to drive 6 hours away to see him. My husband was wanting some brittle to eat on our trips. He tried several kinds of brittle and found it difficult to find some outside of the Christmas season. So, it's been 4 years now that we have been making our homemade brittle to sell at markets. Once everyone gets a taste of our brittle call it heavenly leading to our name Heavenly Candy.
