We had an incredible experience at this year’s Grayson Day Festival! A huge thank-you to the City of Grayson for organizing such a well-run, high-energy event. We couldn’t have asked for a better booth location—it gave us great visibility and allowed us to connect with so many wonderful families in the community. Our School of Rock students were also thrilled with their performance timeslot. The stage setup, sound, and crowd energy made it a truly memorable experience for our young musicians. I had such a great time at Grayson Day! It was a great opportunity to meet some people from the area, and a really fun, family friendly event. We enjoyed the live music and exploring all the vendor booths, plus the parade was so fun to watch. Looking forward to adding it to spring events next year! Great job to the event planners! I’m sure it’s not easy to coordinate so much but they made it a great experience!

We, Pops & Noni’s Cafe had the pleasure of attending Grayson Day once again ( 3 years straight), and it was truly a phenomenal experience. The event was exceptionally organized and provided a lot of enjoyment for attendees. A special shout-out to Lecia Young, the Community Development Director, whose hard work and dedication were evident in every aspect of the day. Her efforts to ensure a positive experience for everyone did not go unnoticed. Our food truck had a great turnout, and we are already looking forward to the next year's event! GO CITY OF GRAYSON!❤️

This was our first time vending at Grayson Day after being a visitor for several years. We had an amazing day! Our neighboring vendors were all very nice and helpful and we definitely got some leads and potential clients. We look forward to returning next year. Thanks to Lecia for all your help!

The Grayson Day festival 2025 was absolutely amazing! This years 45th annual Grayson day festival and Parade was definitely a 10/10 !!!! ? Special thanks to Miss Lecia Young and her team for doing such an amazing job putting it all together! Their dedication and hard work truly showed from sun up to sun down! I’ve been vending at Grayson day for about 7 years now and every year it gets better and better! Expectations always exceeded by visitors and Vendors! Great selection of food , arts , crafts , games , music, great atmosphere and good energy . It’s Always something there for everyone! Thank you again City of Grayson for allowing me to continuously be apart of History!

Had an awesome time at Grayson Day! The atmosphere was perfect, the food was delicious and there was so much to see and do. We really loved the live music and just walking around checking out all the vendors. Great vibe all around—definitely planning to come back next year!

My daughter has been a vendor two years at Grayson Day. She looks forward to this event with excitement. We really appreciate this opportunity for her. Despite the challenges brought on by the rough weather the night before, the team pulled together to deliver a fantastic event. Lecia and her team were incredibly responsive to my questions leading up to the event, and it was a joy to see them walking the site the evening before, ensuring every detail was addressed. Their dedication was evident. We’ve had the pleasure of working with the City of Grayson on past events like the Taste of Grayson and the NG3 Cupcake Chase, and we deeply appreciate the hard work—much of it unseen—that goes into making these events successful. Allison, Lecia, and the entire Grayson City staff consistently set the standard for professionalism, and we look forward to many more years of partnering together in building and uplifting our community through these events

This was my first time attending Grayson Day and it was so awesome! My family and I enjoyed the live music and the production of the Lion King from Starling Elementary. I also loved the tours at Kennerly Cox House. It was cool to see all the history of Grayson. There were also lots of vendors that you could visit and shop at, so that was cool! We’ll definitely be back next year!!

I participated as a vendor at Grayson Day, which proved to be a great opportunity for my small business. I gained a significant amount of new business, and the event had security in place to ensure a safe and organized environment. The staff was also incredibly helpful, making the experience smooth and enjoyable. I look forward to returning next year!

As a local candle business owner participating in this year’s Grayson Day event, I am extremely disappointed by the poor organization and lack of professionalism, particularly from the event coordinator, Lecia Young. My booth was placed directly across from another candle vendor — a careless and inconsiderate placement that directly affects sales and visibility. When I approached Ms. Young to express my concerns, she responded with rudeness and zero compassion. Rather than listen or offer any sort of solution, she was dismissive, unprofessional, and outright nasty in tone. It’s clear there was little effort put into thoughtfully organizing vendor placements or ensuring vendors had a fair and successful experience. I do not recommend this event. *MY RESPONSE TO LECIA YOUNG: Regardless of your inability to plan the layout fairly, there is still NO EXCUSE for your horribly rude and unprofessional attitude. Your lack of compassion & sensitivity shines poorly on the community you serve.
