I am a mixed media artist with a passion for organic form. All my ceramic work is made off the wheel. I create unique hand built clay forms that are both functional & decorative. I often impress work with patterns from nature. I roll vases around the trunks of trees to pick up bark patterns or use fossils, coral and pine cones to decorate a bowl. I high fire pit, sagger or raku my work. Onto my mixed media vessels I weave with horse hair, pine needles, beads and other natural treasures I find in my wanderings though out North America.
