Established in 1978 in Oakland, CA, our mission is to continue our tradition of excellence, using the quality recipes, with 10 ingredients or less that date back over 100 years, to create delightful experiences that inspire smiles, sweet memories, and family togetherness. Delightful Foods is a family-owned and operated bakery in the heart of the Bay Area. We offer 19 flavors of Golden Crust pies, vegan No Cookie Cookies, and friendly, welcoming, environment for dessert lovers and family-business supporters. We offer gluten-free options and sugar-free options to make the dessert experience inclusive for everyone in the family. Delightful Foods was inspired by Bilal, our founder and his love for creating desserts that reminded him of his fond childhood memories. He remembers rushing home from school and his mother having fresh cookies, cakes, breads, and pies cooling near the kitchen window. He has encouraged and motivated our family and team to focus on the culmination of the quality of our products and to make each customer experience delightful and memorable. Bilal, his wife Rafia, and his eldest son, Abdullah are leading the family-business into the future.
