It all started with an idea to capture, in unique visual art, the energy of music that has been played through guitar strings. All of my pieces are created with healing intention, often incorporating the vibrational energy of the earth through the use of natural stones. Guitar string solar system and “healing” orbs are my own unique design, using wire wrapping techniques to sculpt recycled instrument strings and secure stones. Incorporating guitar string sculpture into a variety of mediums and creative expression is the focus of my art; including encaustic painting, fiber arts, jewelry and more, often using discarded, unrepairable instruments as my canvas.
