Awful, awful, AWFUL!!! Had all his trophies lined up and awards billboards, but the food was GARBAGE. Brisket was tough, dry, flavorless, and smothered in bbq sauce. Tasted like a Walmart choice brisket. Mac and cheese was meh at best. And the “bbq beans” tasted like they were straight out of a dollar general and were cold. Not to mention the wait was like 45 minutes, not because everyone wanted their bbq, but because they were just so SLOW. I had high hopes but this goes to show that anyone can do well in competition bbq. Cooking for the masses is another story. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Tried them at the Novi BBQ fest. Absolutely disgusting. Buschs baked beans, macaroni and the hopes and dreams of cheese, and brisket swimming in sauce to cover the fact that it was dry and seasonless. Charged me over $30 for a plate I inevitably threw right into the trash.
