Spending time on Florida prairies, sketching the landscape and cattle, studying the sky, watching the prairie grass bend in a soft breeze gives me an immense sense of calm. Then returning to my studio, I create drawings with expressive charcoal lines in motion, telling stories of life on the Florida prairies.
