Angelo "EyeAmBic" Geter is the current Poet Laureate of Rock Hill, SC and is a 2020 Academy of American Poets Laureate Fellow. He has served in this position since November 2019. In this role he advocates for literacy and expression by using poetry as his primary tool. This consists of reading poems at events in the city, as well as leading workshops, programs and events for youth and adults in Rock Hill.
