Gideons International is a world-wide ministry founded over 100 years ago for the purpose of giving free Bibles in the traffic lanes of life - with a word of witness when appropriate. Our local chapter (or camp) has over 70 members who are members in good standing in various churches in the community. We partner with area churches to bring God's Word to people who live locally and in almost 200 countries. We pray our efforts through God's Word and His grace will strengthen faith, moral integrity and good citizenship in our communities. There are almost 300,000 volunteers - Gideons and their wives who serve in the ministry. The Gideons International is headquartered in Nashville, TN.
