The Portland Chapter of IDS was established with the intent to support and educate the interior design community in Portland, Oregon. IDS Portland is an organization that believes in camaraderie over competition. Our members appreciate and support this mindset and understand that by encouraging each other, our design community is made stronger. Education is a key component of IDS. Our meetings and events are centered on having qualified speakers and resources to educate us on the latest products, trends, techniques, and business practices. In addition to highly qualified interior designers, our members also consist of national and local companies that support the design industry. This designer/vendor mix brings about lively discussions of best practices and forms strong relationships to better serve our clients.
