Lit Up Candle Co. was founded by two music lovers with a candle-making problem on a mission to promote sustainability. Our quality soy candles hand-poured in upcycled bottles are music to your nose. Using a 4-step cold-working process to repurpose the bottles, we handcraft our upcycled candle containers: first we use a wet saw to hand-cut the glass then we use the lapidary wheel to grind away any imperfections or chipping, pre-polish the now smooth edge and lastly polish it to add shine back onto the glass. Then we give them new life as soy candles: - We only use premium all-natural soy wax with our candles to ensure a slow, clean burn. - We use a lead-free hemp wick, which is more sustainable than cotton, and burns hotter improving the scent throw when lit. - To ensure our candles have the best possible fragrance (both unlit and while burning) we use the maximum ratio of fragrance oil to soy wax (almost double the recommended amount). - We work directly with a perfumer to create the strongest multi-note scents.
