Fine art landscape photography captured on location with digital cameras, processed, and printed with archival materials by artist and offered as original limited edition prints. Capture is made under optimal conditions in the field, often by visiting over months, with steps taken to fully capture all the light and detail needed for the final print. This may include capturing several images to overcome camera limitations to composite them to fulfill the artists intent.
Captures are made in the field by visiting locations, often multiple times, to ensure I capture the image under ideal conditions using digital camera(s). Many are technically difficult images requiring composites, made at time of capture, to ensure all the light is captured to create images that “sparkle”. The digital file is then processed using either Lightroom or Photoshop to optimize the image for display and printing. Printing is done using professional equipment, including a state of the art 44” printer , using pigmented archival inks on archival art papers and canvas by the artist. I produce my own gallery wraps by printing on the canvas and applying two coats, minimum, of a protectorant. I then stretch the canvas over wooden stretchers and install hanging hardware and protective backing. Gallery wraps take approximately 3 day to complete. Each print is an original (in photography as long as the print is printed by the artist they are considered originals) produced by me one by one, I go one step further and limit the image to 40 prints. The 40 prints include all styles of prints from that image, whether matted, gallery wrap, black and white etc. Each print is signed and numbered and a Certificate of Authenticity included.
