Z, a native of Oakland, was greatly influenced by the legendary Morrie Turner, creator of Wee Pals. In 2013, he had an opportunity to meet Morrie at a local comic convention. They talked about their love of comic art and Morrie encouraged him to pursue his passion. In 2015 he launched Zee Cee Art.
