As a self taught colorist, I have never been bound by the rules and ideas of color theory. While working, I intuitively mix and use colors that please my soul. Additionally, images I draw are not constrained by realism.....instead my minds eye creates an illustrative abstraction of the remembered scene that served as my inspiration.
