Scanning tickets on-site for entry without internet access
I couldn't find an answer for this. What is the solution for scanning tickets from attendees on a site that doesn't have internet access? Does the scanning app allow for a local database of tickets that I can check with the phone scanner and will sync later? How should I proceed with this need. We have already sold 1,750 tickets through eventeny and need a solution.
Hello Aaron! At this time, there is not a way to scan tickets from attendees without some type of internet access. If the area doesn't have wi-fi access, mobile data or mobile hotspots have been used quite successfully. We are, however, always looking to improve our platform! The ability to scan tickets offline is something that we are looking into, as a few other event organizers have also inquired about this capability.
