COI required and evCover optional? - Eventeny Community

COI required and evCover optional?

I can't see anything in the documentation or help-tips and I don't want to have to find out when live so hoping someone on here can shed some light on this. If we set a COI as required, the box to disable evCover disappears and the "Enabled" notice above the coverage option changes to "Required." We want to require our vendors to provide a COI but we don't want to require them obviously to use evCover. It's not clear so we just want to confirm that our vendors aren't forced to browse for an option using evCover when we enable the COI collection requirement.

Hi, it seems the FAQ you linked is missing information then. On my dashboard currently there are two options... 1) To require COIs for this event, simply turn on the toggle - This toggle is to the right and is shown on the FAQ page image. 2) "Disable evCover on the application" - This is a checkbox that is only visible when the toggle mentioned above is turned off. - This is not described or shown in the FAQ and lead to my confusion about wanting to require COI collection but not utilize evCover. It seems many other vendors might feel the same confusion as now that I have applied to events on the vendor side it seems all are using the "File" question type to collect COIs instead. This does appear to otherwise answer my question though. Thank you.
