Zenkaikon 2026

This Press Application is intended for credentialed media outlets and working journalists. Eligible applicants typically include:

• Newspapers,
• Magazines
• News sites
• Broadcast media: TV, radio, and accredited news networks
• Recognized news agencies
• Industry or trade publications
• Journalists, reporters, and photojournalists on assignment
• Editors, producers, and accredited media staff

Applicants may be asked to provide press credentials, an editor’s assignment letter, or recent published work demonstrating professional journalism.

Zenkaikon Press Badges come with the following benefits: 

• Complimentary Admission to all three full days of Zenkaikon 2026
• Complimentary Admission to Thursday Night Programming/Early Badge Pickup
• Programming/Early Badge Pickup
• Access to the Vendor/Exhibit Hall, Panel rooms, Video Gaming / Tabletop Gaming rooms, and Programming / Special Events
• Exclusive Access to the Press Room for Interviews/Press Conferences with Guests*
• Easy access to a Staff Liaison for questions and concerns

*We cannot guarantee approval for interviews/press conferences. Requests will be handled case-by-case and are subject to space and time availability.  Press Badges are at the discretion of Zenkaikon. They are evaluated on several criteria, including but not limited to the audience reach of the outlet, past coverage of Zenkaikon, and past status as an approved Press Badge holder.

Press Application Deadline: Friday Feb, 13th, 2026 at 11:59pm. We will be reviewing applications and notifying accepted parties prior to Zenkaikon 2026. Priority will be given to applicants from media organizations and those with past approvals at Zenkaikon.

Zenkaikon implemented a Photographer Badge to help prevent safety issues and provide more opportunities for photographers within the convention space.

This year, are requiring you to register using this form. You must also have a membership to enter Zenkaikon, this does not grant entry into the convention.

Any issues or complaints against any photographer may be reported directly to our Marketing Division Head at Jasmine.caban@zenkaikon.org. 

We will review registrations and notify accepted parties prior to Zenkaikon 2026. Most registrants will be accepted; denials will only be given if you have previous conduct issues or otherwise violate our policies.

Zenkaikon Entertainment, Inc. is pleased to offer Content Creator Badges to qualified social media content creators and influencers covering our convention for 2026. Content Creator Badges are only available through this application and are not available on-site. 

Content Creator Application: Who It's For

The Content Creator Application is for independent creators and online media producers whose work reaches audiences through digital platforms. Eligible applicants typically include:

• Bloggers and online writers
• Vloggers and YouTube creators
• Social media influencers
• Podcasters and livestreamers
• Content creators on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Twitch, or similar
• Independent online publishers and community media voices

Creators should have an active online presence and produce original content relevant to our convention and its primary audiences.

Being accepted as a Content Creator does NOT allow you to interview our Guests.
