The Peach State Showdown is a premier regional cheer and dance competition bringing together youth, school-based, and community programs from across the Southeast. Taking place on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at UAFA High School in Morrow, Georgia, this high-energy event delivers a fair, exciting, and family-friendly competition experience for athletes of all levels.
Designed to celebrate athletic excellence, creativity, and teamwork, the Peach State Showdown provides meaningful performance exposure, confidence-building opportunities, and advancement pathways for young athletes. From first-year teams to seasoned competitors, every program is welcomed and celebrated in a professionally produced environment.
The event also offers bid-qualifying opportunities and brings together hundreds of families, coaches, supporters, vendors, and community partners, creating an uplifting atmosphere that supports youth development through sports and the arts.
Hosted by Duval Starz Cheer & Dance Showcase in partnership with Youth Education & Sports Inc. (501c3), the Peach State Showdown is more than a competition—it’s a celebration of youth talent, community pride, and purpose-driven performance.

Open to new, beginner, and experienced teams — everyone is welcome!
Divisions for Cheer, Dance, and Majorette, plus solos, duos, trios, and exhibitions.
Specialty contests including the Jump Contest and Tumble Contest for athletes to showcase their individual skills.

All attendees must follow posted signage and parking attendants’ instructions.
Parking is first come, first served.
No parking is permitted in fire lanes, bus lanes, or restricted areas.
Event organizers are not responsible for parking citations or vehicle damage.

All athletes must be supervised by a coach or responsible adult at all times.
Emergency medical staff or first aid will be available on-site.
Attendees are expected to follow all venue safety rules and event protocols.
Anyone exhibiting unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior may be asked to leave the premises.
In the event of an emergency, follow announcements and instructions from event staff immediately.
