DEBBY HOLIDAY
HEADLINING FAMOUSLY HOT SC PRIDE'S GET LIT CONCERT ON Friday, October 3rd! Debby Holiday, International singer/songwriter with 17 Billboard Top 20 Dance Chart Hits, broke onto the dance scene with her #5 Billboard summer anthem Dive in 2004. Holiday followed the smash hit Dive with her power ballad Half A Mile Away, which shot into the Billboard Top 10, along with Debby's follow-up dance hit Bring It On. All of Debby’s subsequent dance singles broke into the Billboard Top 20 including, Piece of My Love & Surrender Me (with the incredible Tony Moran), Joyful Sound, featured in the hit show Sordid Lives: The Series, from writer/director/producer Del Shores, starring Olivia Newton John. Debby experienced every aspect of the music industry early on while growing up in Los Angeles, Ca. Her father Jimmy Holiday was a passionate and soulful artist, topping the charts with several of his own singles before going on to co-write such hits as Understanding by Ray Charles and Jackie DeShannon’s Put A Little Love In Your Heart. Another standard All I Ever Need Is You, turned out to not only be a top 10 single for Sonny and Cher – but also went on to be a huge country hit for Kenny Rogers and Dottie West. Naturally, this eclectic mix of music strongly influenced Debby’s own unique and compelling sound. Debby has written with a wide range of today’s top songwriters including Jeffrey Steele, Marty Fredrickson, Billy Steinberg, Erik Brazillian and Clif Magness (Avril Levigne). Debby has shared the stage with legendary recording artists like Rod Stewart, Joe Walsh, John Waite and Kiss, appearing on several television programs including The View and The David Letterman Show. Debby starred in the film Blues For Willadean written by the award winning, Del Shores & co-starring Beth Grant, Dale Dickey & Oscar Winner Octavia Spencer. Debby continues to pump up the volume -- on the dance floors, live with her rock/soul band, and on television. Her placements have included, NBC’s The Office, E! Entertainment’s, How Do I Look, FX Networks Dirt, Showtime’s hit The L Word and MTV’s the Pick Up Artist. Queer As Folk another Showtime hit, used two of Debby’s tracks including β€œDive” & β€œHalf A Mile Away” in their episodic finale. As well as several recent MTV music placements in various shows. In 2012, Debby hit the Billboard Charts twice. Never Give Up with the amazing San Francisco based DJ Phil B soared to #9 in May of 2012. Debby’s next single, Key To Your Soul (co-written with DJ John LePage & Jeff Fedak) hit #21 & includes an anti-bullying themed video for the song (directed by Del Shores). In January 2015 her single β€œI Like You” with Grammy Winning Producer/Dj Tony Moran hit #5 on the Billboard Dance Charts. Her latest single β€œLift” with Dirty Disco just started climbing the Billboard charts March 2015. Debby’s next single β€œLift” with Indie label β€œDirty Disco” hit #5 on the Billboard Dance Club Play Charts, as well ! Oct 2017 brought the release of Debby’s new Double Album β€˜Free2B’ (half rock/half dance), which is allowing her to fully embrace her two musical sides. Jan 2020 - Debby hit the Billboard Charts again as the #1 Breakout in the Country with her latest original song with Brett Oosterhaus, β€œLiving For the Music.” August 2021 - β€œLove & Beats” with Brett Oosterhaus hits the Beatport Charts & remains at the top of sales! 2021 Debby formed two new bands, The Queens (& Kings) of Rock and her 10 Piece Tribute to the legendary Tina Turner; which quickly found them performing for thousands at each show. October, 2022 saw the release of a cover of Tina Turner's "I Can't Stand the Rain" with San Francisco's super star DJ Russ Rich on SwishCraft records.

RAYVON OWEN from American Idol!
HEADLINING FAMOUSLY HOT SC PRIDE ON Saturday, October 4th! β€œRayvon Owen smoothly, and seemingly effortlessly, brings authenticity and emotion to his lyrical narrative and melodies. USA TODAY once said of Owen, β€œHe developed a reputation for a singer willing to sacrifice technical perfection for a moment of authentic emotion.” Each song in his catalogue is a glimpse into who Owen is as a person, and a testament to the joy that can only come from being yourself. His newest single, β€œHonesty,” will be released in April 2020; it will be the first song from his forthcoming EP, Las Virginia, which he recently wrapped recording. β€œI feel like with this new EP I am redefining who I am and showing the world that I’m not just a singer, but an artist and songwriter with a perspective and story to tell.” Las Virginia reflects Owen’s journey of growth, as well as the combination of where he came from with who he is now. β€œIt’s all about my internal yin and yang, growing up in the east but now living in the west, and the battle of who I was taught to be versus who I am becoming.” Owen has also coyly said, β€œWhat happens in Las Virginia . . . ended up on this EP,” in reference to a troubled romantic situation from his past. β€œI’m proud that I can freely sing about what I’ve been through now. All of the lyrics on my last EP seemed like they were about a girl . . . but they definitely weren’t.” Authenticity is a common theme within the native Virginian's music; past EPs delved deeply into themes of personal authenticity, self-confidence, and love. It took awhile to get there, however. Following his journey as a Season 14 Top 4 finalist on American Idol, Owen embarked on a 38-city tour as part of American Idols LIVE! He had garnered national recognition but felt like he was β€œliving a lie.” After finding himself in a serious relationship with a man, Owen made the brave decision to come outβ€”through his music, of course. On Valentine’s Day in 2015, Owen released the music video for his first post-Idol single, β€œCan't Fight It,” along with an exclusive Billboard interview that publicly shared Owen's story as a gay man. In spite of some negative backlash, β€œCan't Fight It” went on to have over 1 million YouTube views and over half a million Spotify streams. Later that same year, after releasing his EP Air, he also earned the moniker of L.A. Music Award’s β€œRising Star.” Owen’s glowing collection of pop gemsβ€”layered with textures of soul, R&B, and incandescent synthβ€”have earned attention from the likes of People Magazine, Huffington Post, USA Today, and Billboard. Recent singles have included: β€œFlexin’ My Vibe,” with a feature appearance from the β€œSelfie Kid,” Ryan McKenna; β€œTonight” with a feature from Matillo; β€œLike a Storm;” and β€œX,” which Owen credits for inspiring the vibe of Las Virginia. Onstage, Owen has appeared with some of the most prolific and prominent recording artists, including Jamie Foxx, Ricky Martin, Boy George, and Frankie Grande. He toured with Postmodern Jukebox all over the United Kingdom, Ireland, and South America, and has sung the National Anthem for several major sporting events, including at games for the San Francisco 49ers, San Diego Chargers, Carolina Panthers, Arizona Cardinals, Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Clippers, and Phoenix Suns. Additionally, Owen is honored to have performed at over sixty colleges nationwide and has been a featured performer at LGBT Pride Festivals in Columbus, Ohio, Richmond, Virginia, Louisville, Kentucky, and Los Angeles, Californiaβ€”a particular honor for him. β€œPeople experience and hear countless negative things every day. I think you can get really down when you’re only hearing negative things about what people are saying about you, or what people are doing to you. I think that the best thing you can do is to be yourself and I hope that people find that message through my music.” Other significant appearances and accolades have included being Elvis Duran's β€œArtist of the Month” (Jan/Feb 2018); performing his single β€œGold” on the TODAY Show; winning the β€œRising Star” award at the 2015 L.A. Music Awards; having β€œGold” featured as Nylon Magazine's β€œBest Releases of the Week” (Jan 2018); and receiving nearly 3 million YouTube views combined of his covers of β€œIgnition” and β€œDon’t Let Me Down” with Postmodern Jukebox. Whether onstage, in the studio, or deep into the songwriting process, Rayvon Owen strives to entertain his listeners, while also creating an immersive and inspirational experience. β€œI love singing about love, life experiences, and my journey growing up to be the person I am today.”
