About the event
Join Amy Smoot to create and play with clay on the wheel! Students will have fun exploring the pottery wheel and various techniques to create functional cups, bowls or mugs. Students will receive instruction through each step of the throwing process from creating, trimming, and decorating their work. This camp is limited to a maximum of 6 students and a minimum of 3. There are two sessions for teens and two sessions for ages 10-12.
The dates, times, and ages of Clay Camps are as follows:
Session A: June 1 & 2; 2-4pm; ages 13-17
Session B: June 15 & 16, 2-4pm; ages 8-12
Session C: July 6, 7 & 8; 2-4pm; Ages 8-12
Session D: July 27 & 28; 2-4pm; Ages 13-17

This class will be held in Kentuck's Clay Studio at 2014 5th Street. The entrance is in the Courtyard of Wonders. Look for the green door and trim! There are two parking lots next to the Courtyard of Wonders, and participants are also welcome to park in Downtown Northport.
