In this multi-day beginners class, participants will learn the basics of creating pottery on the wheel! Taught by Amy Smoot, this class will walk participants through the basics of prepping clay, throwing their piece, and glazing their work. Students can expect to create 4-6 finished pieces.
Days 1 and 2 are consecutive on Monday and Tuesday, and will be spent throwing on the wheel. Day three is the following Thursday and will be spent glazing. The gap is to allow for drying and bisque firing of work made on days 1 and 2. Class is held from 6-8pm each day.
Clay, glazes, firings included in tuition. Tools provided.
There is a minimum of 2 students for this class, and a maximum of 6 participants. No refunds will be given once registration closes.

This class will be held in Kentuck's Clay Studio at 2014 5th Street. The entrance is in the Courtyard of Wonders. Look for the green door and trim! There are two parking lots next to the Courtyard of Wonders, and participants are also welcome to park in Downtown Northport.
