Westside Market – Vendor Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions are intended to ensure a positive, safe, and successful experience for all vendors, guests, and community partners of the Westside Market. By submitting payment and participating as a vendor, you agree to the following:
1. Booth Reservation & Payment
Vendor space is not confirmed until payment is received in full.
All vendor fees are non-refundable unless the event is canceled by Westside Market.
Spaces are assigned at the discretion of Westside Market organizers. Special requests will be considered but cannot be guaranteed.
2. Set-Up & Tear-Down
Vendors may arrive for set-up beginning 3 hour before the start of the market. All booths must be fully set up 30 minutes prior to market opening.
Vendors must remain open for the entire duration of the event. Early tear-down is not permitted.
All vendor property must be removed from the premises by the designated tear-down time.
3. Booth Space & Displays
Booth space is limited to the size purchased. All displays, merchandise, and signage must remain within your assigned area.
Vendors must provide their own tables, tents, chairs, and display equipment unless otherwise specified.
Tents must be properly weighted for outdoor events. Stakes may not be allowed depending on the venue.
4. Permits, Licensing & Insurance
Vendors are responsible for complying with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations, including any required licenses or permits for sales (e.g., food service, health department approval, cottage food laws).
Food vendors must comply with all health and safety requirements.
Vendors are strongly encouraged to carry general liability insurance. Westside Market, its staff, and affiliates are not responsible for any theft, loss, damage, or injury.
5. Conduct & Safety
Vendors must conduct themselves in a professional, respectful manner toward staff, fellow vendors, and guests.
No loud, obscene, or disruptive behavior will be tolerated.
Alcohol, drugs, and smoking/vaping are prohibited within the vendor area unless otherwise approved.
6. Weather Policy
The market is a rain-or-shine event. No refunds will be issued for weather-related impacts unless the event is officially canceled by organizers.
In case of severe weather, vendors must follow all instructions from event staff for safety.
7. Promotion & Media Release
Vendors grant permission for Westside Market to use photographs, video, or other media of their booth/products for marketing purposes.
Vendors are encouraged to promote their participation on social media using official event tags.
8. Indemnification
By participating, vendors agree to indemnify and hold harmless Westside Market, its organizers, volunteers, affiliates, and venue hosts from any claims, damages, or liabilities resulting from their participation.
Acknowledgment
By submitting payment and attending the event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
